Install IPTV on Enigma2
- It is primarily an Operating System (OS) version that you store on the set-top box.
- For example, with Enigma2, there would be a variety of options.
- Each version will have many features and varying levels of stability.
Plugins: These are add-ons that add extra features to the device.
How to Add IPTV Channels to Enigma2 Using the XtreamTV Plugin
You will need to provide us with the type of set-top box you have so that we can send you the address of the appropriate script. This will allow you to automatically install the E2 plugin via the Telnet protocol using the DCCe2 or Putty program.
After connecting to your box, go to the “FTP” section and navigate to this path: /var/temp/.
On the right side, browse to where you have saved the XtreamTV plugins and move them into the “temp” folder.
Now, go to the “Telnet” section and paste the scripts we have provided (according to your box model) and press “Enter”.
After installing the XtreamTV plugin, you can run it from the “Extension Browser” or the “Main Menu” of your receiver to activate the MAC address.
You will then provide us with this MAC address, which will be used to create your line.
